Lon is a "been there, done that" people manager. He brings broad HR and organization experience. He is an expert at implementing high performance work systems, Total Quality Management, and training managers at all levels of the org chart.
Currently: Senior HR Manager for Homeland Security in the Seattle area.

- VP of Administration at a banking institution in Oregon: Responsible for HR and administration departments. Managed 12 employees.
- Senior Operations Manager for AT&T Fixed Wireless: Oversee an electronics manufacturing operation for AT&T Fixed Wireless in Seattle. He had responsibility for managing a start-up surface mount operation with production, test, assembly, and R&D. Led two managers and 70 hourly employees.
- Senior-level HR experience in the Pulp & Paper industry: Cedar River Paper in Iowa which was a non-union plant in a heavily unionized industry. Three Weyerhaeuser pulp and paper operations in Oregon where he led HR, training, and labor relations. At these facilities he increased team participation and decreased grievances.
Education: BA in Organizational Management from Northwest College.

Maintenance Manager in a pulp and paper mill in Springfield, Oregon. Led 22 hourly maintenance employees. I learned that you can't let the traditional union thinking pull you down, and I learned how you can you rise above by building mutual trust and direct communication. I developed a knack for solving grievances on the shop floor before people got entrenched in their positions. Earned a strong reputation for managing people, and was eventually promoted to Employee Relations Director for the entire 750 employee facility.
